Sun, sand and music?! The ultimate summer fest destination, Hang Out! takes place ON the Gulf Shore of Alabama. Yes, that’s right, right on the beach. With headliners this year such as Florence & The Machine, The Weeknd and Calvin Harris, it doesn’t seem like that would be hard to do. Yes please! The Governor’s Ball Music Festival
In 5 short years, this one-day concert has turned into one of the most popular 3-day music festivals in America. Like NYC didn’t already have enough going for it. Taking over an entire island, this festival continues to fill the bill with the biggest names in music, this year is no different. Giving west-coast music festivals a run for their money, Governor’s Ball 2016 headliners include The Strokes, The Killers, and Kanye West himself. This year is sure to blow music lovers away, hopefully without any infamous Kanye Twitter rants. And New York is pretty cool too.
Don’t wanna miss: Death Cab for Cutie, Beck, Father John Misty, Eagles of Death Metal

Would it really be a list of music festivals without the ‘roo? Smack dab in the middle of Tennessee ( I know, right?!), Bonnaroo continues to be one of the most attended music festivals in America. Attendees claim it’s the southern charm, but the HUGE headliners year-to-year might have a little something to do with it. Can you say Pearl Jam? ‘Roo is also a stop on LCD Soundsystem’s reunion run, along with festival veteran Ellie Goulding. Year in and year out, it’s a must for festival goers.
Don’t wanna miss: J.Cole, Halsey, CHVRCHES, Sam Hunt
June 9-12: Tickets
The monster. The mecca. The epitome of all things summer music festival. Festival gurus number one obsession, it’s no shocker that Coachella made the list (duh). Spread across two weekends in the California desert, this year’s festival is sure to out do last year’s, and the year before…. and the year before that. With a collection of electronic, dance, pop and rock stages, everyone is bound to feel at home at this festival- probably why it’s so popular. LCD Soundsystem is reuniting to headline the festival and will share the stage with Guns n’ Roses and Calvin Harris. This list goes on and on and on of what artists not to miss, and it’s impossible to see everyone. But despite that, it continues to be a bucket list item.
Don’t wanna miss: Jack U, Ice Cube, Sia, The 1975, everybody, and THE ART
