In the wake of the #MeToo movement, famed transgender icon Caitlyn Jenner is the latest to make claims of sexual harassment and assault. Caitlyn Jenner has filed a sexual harassment lawsuit against her former male counterpart, world known Olympian Bruce Jenner, Monday morning in New York City.
The lawsuit claims that Cailyn Jenner was emotionally and physically oppressed by Bruce Jenner for decades. Caitlyn further expressed that Bruce constantly overpowered and intentionally stifled her sexual freedom and expression both in and out of the workplace.
It was terrible. For years I supported his athletic abilities. But, he never allowed me to express my sexual identity. He constantly pretended I didn’t even exist.
Caitlyn further elaborates, “he constantly had his way with me when no one was watching.”
A source close to Bruce Jenner said, “Look, I mean, yeah. Everyone talked a little smack in the locker rooms. But, that’s just how things were back then. I think Caitlyn was just angry that Bruce didn’t want anyone to know about her. I’m still a bit fuzzy on what their connection was.”
Bruce Jenner has not responded to these allegations. His silence on this matter and apparent disappearance have led to a recent FBI investigation into Bruce Jenner’s whereabouts. The lead investigator on the case, Martin Cristo has stated,
“We are unsure of Mr. Jenner’s official whereabouts at this time, however, we have substantial DNA evidence that links Ms. Jenner to Mr. Jenner’s recent disappearance along with an accomplice in the medical field. Admittedly, it is all very confusing but at this time we are treating this as a potential hate crime.”
Bruce Jenner was last seen in early April of 2017. Caitlyn Jenner was relatively unknown prior to Bruce’s disappearance. She quickly rose to fame with the release of a Vanity Fair cover story in July of 2017.
